OK, it doesn't make your hair feel like silk when wet, but I like to know I got hair anyways! If you want to feel and see tons of volume, use it. If you want silky soft wet hair. Flat, dry unhealthy looking dry hair, this product is not for you. A+.... Best I've used!! BUY IT NOW!

I love this product, it makes my hair so soft and shiny. I also use the vita tress shampoo and with a combination of them both it makes my hair look so healthy. I have short hair thats really thin, and I done some research to find products that would help with regrowth. This is one that I found, you can't buy it in the store so that sucked, but you have to purchase it online. Thats fine with me because it does what it is suppose to do. I have been using it for a month now and I can tell a big difference in my hair, it has tons of body, super shiny, and silky soft, before I had limp, dry, frizzy, and damaged hair and by the way I do use a hot iron on my hair before I bought the products and I still use it today and my hair looks as if it never seen heat. Now thats what I call awesome. My hair is curly and frizzy but when I use the shampoo and cystine treatment it acts like a relaxer on my hair, it pulls most of the curl out and leaves it wavy so I'm not using the hot iron on my hair for long. I love it and I continue to use these products as long as Nexxus continues to make them!!!!!! I high recommend these products!

I think this product works well as part of the system, but be sure to use a light drugstore conditioner after. The system can make your hair initially feel like straw and difficult to brush, but my hair does feel stronger if not just thicker.

This product was HORRIBLE!!! Made my hair brittle like straw & very tangled. My hair is thin & very thin--almost fading--on my hairline. I read the reviews (which were good) on this product thinking it would help me with this problem. All it did was make my hair so brittle, that when I combed it, it felt like it would have ripped out. I bought the Nexxus VitaTress Cystine Treatment to go with the Nexxus VitaTress Essential Kit, and used the Cystine Treatment as a conditioner, but that didn't help at all either. My hair was just a matted, wet, brittle, hot mess. So I had no other choice but to re-wash my hair with my sister's shampoo & conditioner by Profectiv "Growth Formula," and this did the trick. It detangled my hair and bought it back to life, and I could comb thru it. But I'm glad I did not waste my money on the full size bottle, because this product it HORRIBLE!!! Now I just use Garnier Frutis Sleek & Shine 3 Minute Mask, this works awesome; it slowly changes your hair texture overtime of continues use. This Nexxus VitaTress Cystine Treatment did not work for me, maybe it will work for someone else.
